Dress rehearsal for recreational classes for DANCE ASSISTANTS, JUNIOR ASSISTANTS AND MENTORS- Schedule is HERE. All Jr assistants, assistants, and mentors are expected to be at dress rehearsal if it does NOT conflict with their regular class time at the studio. Please review the schedule and let your teacher know if you cannot be there. All Mentors and Assistants of PRE-SCHOOL classes are expected to know their class choreography by THIS WEEK so they can dance on stage with their class. If they do not know their choreography, they will not be allowed to dance on stage. Please practice so you know the routines!
Click HERE for schedule. At this point I cannot take any more special requests. Please note that Company and Elite dancers WILL HAVE SUNDAY CLASS after pictures. It is our last Sunday! . Next year we will have the Lightning and Angels join us for off-site pics!
We are pleased to announce that Miss Maggie has accepted a position as Artistic Director at The Dance Factory! In addition to teaching, Maggie will be responsible for managing our competition program along with myself and Miss Zina. She will oversee teacher training and choreography, in addition to student curriculum. Congrats Maggie!
Competition parents, don't forget to fill out the Competition Survey. We already have some GREAT feedback from you. Thank you! I am happy to announce that we will be making Sunday tech/Production optional for students in grades 8-up. Students will still have to take additional classes during the week to make up the time, but they will have much more flexibility. Thank you for the input, we hear you! A virtual meeting with info about next year's competition program will be ready for viewing late April/early May.
Also, more than 50% of you want to try out Brainerd Nationals next year! We will keep that on the radar and pursue this option if the dates work out.
Bring a $2 donation to Doing Good Together - http://www.doinggoodtogether.org/
