Kaylee Fandre, Leadership Team, Instructor

Kaylee grew up in Illinois where she danced for 14 years.  She danced at Dance Academy of Antioch for most of her training, which was then renamed Triple Threat Dance Studio and quickly after Extreme Artistry Dance Studio.  During her time in the studio, she was trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, tap, modern, lyrical, and musical theatre. Kaylee started teaching and assisting at Triple Threat at age 14 and then progressed to a teacher at Extreme Artistry when she was 16.  She started by teaching recreational classes and choreographing for recitals.  By age 17, she also started a turns and leaps technique class for dance team members.  In High School, Kaylee also partook in her competitive dance team where she held a captain position for two years.  Right before leaving for college, Kaylee had the opportunity to work closely with Shine Bright Dance Studio in their new opening.  She got to perform in a benefit for the new studio and was able to teach classes there on her college breaks.

Kaylee is currently pursuing a BA in Dance with a minor in Management at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities where she has performed works by Justin Jones and the Martha Graham Dance Company, reset by Susan Kikuchi.  She also got the chance to perform with TU Dance in their Spring 2016 show.  She is currently studying modern, jazz, improvisation, composition, and ballet.

Outside of school, Kaylee likes to do things like freelance choreograph, perform, and work dance competitions.  In fall of 2015, she performed in a musical production called "Philly The Musical" as a dancer in St. Louis Park.  Over the summers, Kaylee travels to teach dance for the Universal Dance Association where she loves to pass down her knowledge to the generations of dancers to come.  She is so excited to be a part of the Dance Factory staff and cannot wait to continue sharing her passion.
