Competition Program

Our Competition Program is designed for those students who want to take their dancing to the next level. Dancers have the opportunity to perform on stage multiple times at competitions and performances. Dancers spend their class time advancing their technical skills while promoting teamwork, goal reaching, and self-esteem. We have several commitment levels in our Competition Program.

Students take classes in tap, jazz, ballet and lyrical. There is an option for hip hop, solos, duets, trios, and extra routines. Please check out some of our Frequently Asked Questions below

How is the Competition program different from the Performance Team program?

How is the Competition program different from the Performance Team program? Performance Team students practice 1 time per week, and only compete 1 routine in one competition. They also do 1-3 community performances. Our Competition students’ practice 2-4 days per week, and perform 2-5 routines at 4 competitions plus Nationals at Wisconsin Dells.

 

How much does it cost to be part of the Competition program?

The Competition classes practice 1.5-12 hours a week, depending on the age and level. Tuition costs range from $115-395/month, depending on how many hours a dancer comes per week. Other fees range from $115- $400/month which includes costumes and competition fees.

 

When are the competitions?

The competitions are in March-May. They are local, no more than a 30-60 minute drive. We go to Nationals every year as well, which are at Wisconsin Dells.

 

Do the students perform in several recitals?

Most Competition students perform in 2 recitals. Our oldest groups perform in every recital.

 

My dancer wants to audition, what is the next step?
