8-29-2022 Competition and Performing Line Updates!

Hello parents,

I hope you had a great weekend! Congrats to our students who performed in the Concepts show! You did a wonderful job!

Mr. Steve Gorski is here for choreography this week! We are so excited! He will choreographing 2 small groups, Company jazz, and a few solos/duets.

Nationals hotel rooms - If you are a new family, it is a good idea to book a room in Wisconsin Dells for Nationals, 6/14-18 (likely you won't be there the entire time). The room block at the host hotel, the Kalahari, is sold out, but you can book across the street at Great Wolf Lodge, or anywhere in the Dells area. Keep calling the Kalahari, often times rooms open up during the year.

Last call for workout challenge - Last day to turn in logs (or just an email stating you completed the challenge) is Wednesday!!!

New parent meeting-are you a new competition parent? The mandatory new parent meeting is Wed. 9/7 at 7PM at the studio.

Fall Team pictures- will be 9/6 and 9/7 in the evening. The schedule will be posted on Band this week.

Flexability Class- don't throw away all of that hard work you did with the FlexAbility class all summer! This is a progressive class that moves kids up by levels as they complete exercises. Increase your flexibility and achieve those skills you have always wanted to do!

Ignite custom costumes - Ignite in Chanhassen makes beautiful custom costumes. They are available to make solo/duet/trio costumes this year. I am attaching their tiered pricing for you to take a look at. If you are interested in this option, talk to your dancer's solo teacher. They will help come up with a general idea, then meet with the staff at Ignite to design the costume.

Trainee Saturdays/Guest teachers-With limited studio space for solo/duets to be every week, I'll be bringing in our DF trainees on one Saturday per month, as well as a guest teacher on one Saturday per month for dancers to sign up for extra lessons. Stay tuned for dates!

Upcoming travel - We have LA and Disney 2023 coming up! More info to come soon!
